Programs That Serve the Entire Family

Hope Is Where the Heart Is

Without intervention and educational programs, victims of addiction and abuse find it extremely difficult to break the cycle of abuse that has become the norm in their lives. Through the comprehensive programs and services at Morgan's House, victims of addiction and abuse will receive the resources and support necessary to live healthy, independent lives.

Our Programs: Who We Are

Our Programs

Making a Difference

Domestic violence is a leading cause of homelessness for women and their children. Many victims face homelessness when they flee abusive homes. Their experiences are confounded by economic instability because of the abuser (poor credit, unemployment, etc.)

By reducing risk factors and providing resources and support, Morgan's House is able to break the cycle and empower victims to move beyond these issues and live fulfilling lives.

Transitional Housing

We offer secure, transitional housing designed for three (3) months to twelve (12) months in duration. This is a 24 hour a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year program.

Supportive Programs

Availability of our programs is critical to these victims once the immediate crisis has been addressed. Development of life skills, parenting skills and problem-solving skills will place these women on a positive path towards independence.

Counseling / Therapy

Often enough the path to healing for these victims begins with individual & family counseling, group therapy, as well as support groups. Knowing they are not alone in their struggles is crucial as they work to stabilize their lives.

Educational Services

Knowledge is power for today's and future generations. Virtual learning protocols, onsite GED classes and job-related training are examples of the educational offerings at Morgan's House.

Job Placement

Enriched by our programs, these women will possess both knowledge and newly acquired skills suitable for job placement within the communities we serve.

Advocacy & Outreach

Our community partners are the bedrock for addressing the scarcity of community services in the Lake Area Region. By nurturing our relationships in the community, we are able to leverage the support of local businesses to meet these emerging needs.

By way of counseling, group therapy, support groups, job training and government aid, we aim to be the doorway for our clients to begin the healing process and gain independence.
